Scana Skarpenord, Rjukan, has been awarded a contract to upgrade systems for remote control of the ballast valves on the Njord A platform.

The delivery consists of 4 oil generators and 4 electro hydraulic control panels. Total value approx. 17 MNOK. Scana Skarpenord delivered, among other things, the original ballast system when the rig was built in the mid-90s and we find it exciting to supply important parts for upgrading and modernizing the more than 20-year-old floating platform.

Scana Skarpenord won this contract in strong competition with other suppliers. This is a natural continuation of the delivery from the 90s and fits nicely into the series of Offshore projects that the company delivers.
